Holly started her veterinary career in 1994 in a private practice in Johnson County, while attending IUPUI. She then transferred to Purdue University where she received her acceptance letter into the Veterinary Technology program. While in school, Holly worked within the university setting in the ICU and surgery departments. That is when she truly fell in love with veterinary medicine and Purdue University. Holly completes her Associates and Bachelors at Purdue and completed an externship at an emergency and critical care facility in Indianapolis. After graduation, Holly continued working in the emergency field until 2003 when she became a full time employee at Franklin Animal Clinic.
Holly always knew she wanted to work in the healthcare field, “I just didn’t know which species”. Holly was actually certified as an EMT through college and even entertained continuing on with a paramedic sciences degree. Holly believes she has chosen wisely, but still maintains her CPR certification.
Holly’s greatest passion and joy comes from oncology, transfusion medicine and education. Science behind physiology and human-animal bond motivates her to learn and expand her horizons.
When not working at Franklin Animal Clinic, Holly has a wonderful family at home that supports her. She lives in Indianapolis with her husband and two children. They keep her young and inspire her to be a better mom, a better wife, a better co-worker, and a better patient care provider. “It is truly amazing to be a part of this family and the families of those we treat.”
