Dr. Sara Jordan received her degree from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2008. Sara and her husband Todd have three furry children: Tony, Max and Peyton. Tony, a rescue miniature poodle from a puppy mill, was adopted by Sara during her second year of veterinary school. Max, a toy poodle, joined the family during Sara’s first fall at Franklin Animal Clinic when he was found with an injured hip. Peyton is the third poodle (miniature) and was welcomed into the family spring of 2012, when his family could no longer care for him.
When Sara is not busy with her three hyper poodles she loves traveling with her husband, especially to the National Parks throughout the country. The Great Smoky Mountains National Park is their favorite! Music has been a very important part of her life. In fact she met her husband playing with the Greater Greenwood Community Band. Sara plays the flute, Todd the trombone. She always enjoys making a new recipe on her evenings at home.
Dr. Jordan joined Franklin Animal Clinic after graduation from Purdue in June of 2008. Her special interests include ophthalmology, endocrinology, and soft tissue surgery. She has loved being able to fulfill her dream of helping to provide the best veterinary care for each patient at an individual level, allowing them to live longer and healthier lives with their humans.
