Crystal joined Franklin Animal Clinic in October of 2011 as a kennel technician, cleaning the building and caring for our overnight critical patients. She recently has added the roles of veterinary assistant, working in the treatment area, as well as OSHA director.
She and her husband Tony will celebrate 30 years of marriage in December 2012 and are very proud of their son A.J.. Crystal and Tony are “owned” by 5 dogs-Kramer, Maverick, Buck, Ace & Trixie, 2 cats-Glory & Jasper, 4 geese (one is named Honk Williams Jr.) and 2 ducks. They usually have 1-3 foster dogs visiting from National Brittany Rescue & Adoption Network (NBRAN) or The Shelbyville/Shelby County Animal Shelter.
Crystal is a member of The Shelbyville Firefighters’ Auxiliary and she and Tony attend Faith United Methodist Church. She is currently enrolled in Purdue University’s Veterinary Technician Distance Learning Program and plans to reach her goal of becoming a Registered Veterinary Technician within the next 3 years. Her favorite free time activity is riding on the back of the motorcycle with Tony and hanging out with friends and family.
